The Honey Badgers are an electrifying blues and soul outfit from Adelaide, Australia. Powered by a punchy horn section and deep, infectious grooves, the band delivers high-energy performances designed to get audiences moving and feeling good.
In 2023, The Honey Badgers placed in the top six at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, lining up with the finest blues acts from around the globe. Their debut album Shakin’, which reached #1 on the ABARAC charts, documents their rise from South Australia’s southern vales favourites to an international stage. Recorded over three years, the album is infused with the spirit of Memphis, following performances at legendary venues including Alfred’s, Club 152 and The Blues City Cafe along historic Beale Street.
Reaching the Grand Finale at the iconic Orpheum Theatre, the band became only the second Australian act ever to do so, alongside Melbourne stalwarts Collard, Greens & Gravy (with Nardia joining this elite group in 2025 and Cam Walter Blues in 2026).
Along the way, The Honey Badgers have shared the stage with many of Australia’s leading blues artists, including Frank Sultana, Nathan Beretta, Dan Sullivan, Ben Wicks, Adrian “Red” Herbert and Chris Finnen.
With a new live album released to excellent reviews in March 2025 (The Blues Foundation Best Self Produced CD Finalist) and a highly anticipated second studio album on the way in 2026, the band is entering one of its most exciting chapters yet — pushing their sound further around the country in a national tour in 2026.
